On My way

2 weeks had passed since I landed in US, my life upsides down and lots of things need to be recorded. People came to me and gave me help, which made my new life in Boston much easier, so right here I’d like to say thank you, all my friends. Thank you John for pick up me at the airport and provide me soooo many help, not to mention you drive me around looking for a temp accommodation and congratulations for you just have a baby, I will pray for him, hope he will be to health and smart. And thank you Rain for providing me a place to live in and your laptop, which is of great importance for me right now. I hope my own laptop will able to arrive within 2 weeks. There were so many people helped me, someone I can recall your name, someone I can’t, anyway, I’d like to say thank you all you guys.
And now here is a brief introduction about my life in America and my first impression about here. Due to the unknown reason my fight had been delayed for about 4 hours and I spent 10+ hours at SFO international airport, which made my trip rather tired (you can never sleep well on the plane), thankfully there had been a girl went with me, who is also a NU student, which made my trip not that boring. My whole plan had been changed, and my hostel order had expired. What made things even worse, I called John and got the message that he can’t pick up us next morning (our fight expect to land at 7:00 AM in Boston). You can’t imagine how helpless I was when I sat on the SFO airport waiting bay, which is almost empty, just looking at sun rise and sun set through big glass window. Thankfully John showed up at the Boston airport and helped me out, my luggage is much too heavy for me that I had no idea what to do with it, and I swear I will never take so many things next time. With help of John, I found a new hostel with better condition and location and after that I participated school orientation; got my bank account and my mobile phone so everything went on smoothly, except there had been a little problem about my apartment. I decided to live with my classmate at first, which is in Roxbury the black guys’ area. It is said that this place is not very safe for students (robbery happens), so we can’t reach an agreement, I had no alternative but to find another place. I am now live in Malden, a sub city of Boston. It will take 30M for me to get to campus and the conditions are better than previous one, the price is cheaper, and also there is a mall nearby. So it is OK for me. Now I am trying to cook by myself, I cooked chicken wings and other dishes yesterday and it seemed not that hard for me to be a good chef. : )
BTW, it is incredible clean here, the rumor is true… and air is clean and everything you saw is clean so you don’t need to wish your shoes at all. The transportation, I mean the subway in particular, is not as modernized as that of Beijing, but still very developed. You can easily find a seat if you don’t go out during rush hours.
As for my major and my classmate, there are so many Indian guys there and I can’t understand what they are talking about, especially when they are speaking fast, FUCK. The software industries is full of Indians, after a discussion with Rain, we reach out a conclusion that if we want to do something great in this industry, we must work hard to understand Indian English…
It is mid-autumn day and I was invited to Charles’ home, a Korean friend, and I did have a wonderful night. There were delicious Korean food, moon cake and I brought some green tea, and thankfully they love it.
So much for this. It is too late now and maybe I will put some pictures on the site next time. I miss you guys in china or current not in china =.=, please send me mails to mailpophy@hotmail.com if you got time.

人生若只如初见

人生若只如初见。
我不知道容若在写这一句时心里是怎样的感受。但，其实，他的人生算得上是圆满的：出身贵胄又是康熙近待，妻子卢氏贤良大度，妾待婉转温存，实非名动天下而坎坷多难的少游、杜甫所能比。
可恁是这样的人生，《饮水词》一一读来，却是恨不胜收。就连明珠读罢，也老泪潸然：这孩子他什么都有了啊，为何如此不快乐？
容若所恨，该是人事无常吧，我想。正如《如梦令》所道，一朝梦觉，却原来“物是人非事事休”，所以他恨。
人心，果真是最经不起世事熬煮的，一切存在变数，我们能够看清楚故事的开头，却料不到最后的收稍。
若人生真能如初见，梁祝最后的成全便不该是双化蝶；人生若真能如初见，长安城里不曾有过鱼玄机，更没有了白氏永镇雷锋塔、班婕妤长信宫中怨歌行，又何来“长门一步地，不肯暂回车”？
悲欢离合，生离死别，我们躲不开，尘世后那只翻云覆雨手。
如此，我们是回不去了，而初见，却是如此美好，素净。
会想起来的，那时彼此相视一笑，共同走过那一路太平盛世，那时节人声鼎盛，而我们听得懂的，只是对方。我想，那时，我该是那日子里笑得最多的一个，心满意足的。
而是不是所有东西都有个限量，早早透支，结果便无圆满？
我想是的。今日，千般已如隔世，再来除非万幸。
我终于不再有所期待，只是我不知该庆幸，还是悲伤，所以，我很沉默。
